About me

Several months after the birth of my second child, I was inspired to find a new career by the stress filled start to my daughter's life of my own ability to recover from my c-section.

I knew this was my calling and couldn't wait to get started. After several years of study and intensive training, I became a Professional Qualified Bowen Practitioner. I could not be more proud of this wonderful journey. The only thing left was starting this gentle and effective technique with other mothers with similar experiences as myself.

Not only mothers and babies but the whole of my community has the potential of benefiting from Bowen Technique.

Training, qualifications & experience

I've trained with Bowtech, the original Bowen technique, founded by Ossie Rentsch, who worked directly alongside the late Tom Bowen. I am a full member of the Bowen Therapy Association UK, hold a Level 3 VTCT, full indemnity insurance, a current first aid certificate and regularly undertake registered courses as part of my continuing professional development.

Further information

Bowen is gentle, safe, affordable and offers natural relief with long-lasting results.

Bowen therapy is a complementary therapy that is administered by gentle moves over muscle and connective tissue to realign and balance the body. These moves are aided by pauses where the body's nervous system assimilates, responds and heals.Bowen has an excellent track record in relieving many conditions and is suitable for all, from pregnant woman and babies, from frail to elderly.

It can assist recovery from many conditions, from traumatic injury to chronic illness, depending on each individual's capacity to heal.

Important information

If you have been diagnosed with or suspect you may have a pre-existing medical condition you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies, treatments or making any major changes in your diet or exercise programme.
