About me
My purpose is to deliver the very best in physiotherapy care for my patients, with specialist knowledge and skills in the management and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. I am able to offer affordable treatment, which will be provided in a professional, friendly manner, in a private consultation and treatment room.
I will provide you with a clear clinical impression of your condition, and a tailor-made treatment plan personal to you based on your needs and wishes, in conjunction with extensive experience and knowledge, combined with the most up to date medical evidence.
I am able to offer weekday, evening and weekend appointments without the restrictions of a waiting list. This allows us to effectively treat your pain, and allow you to lead your life and achieve your goals. I am are based within the 'Active Soccer Sports Centre’ on the ever expanding complex at Sefton Lane in Maghull, with ample on-site parking.
Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2004, progressing her NHS career to Musculoskeletal Clinical Specialist level, dealing with a broad spectrum of complex musculoskeletal conditions.
I have been qualified to perform acupuncture since 2008 and also completed a Master of Research degree in 2013 where the focus of my research was into the prevention and management of pregnancy-related back pain and pelvic girdle pain. I have published this research in an international peer-reviewed journal and has also published papers on the use of acupuncture in pregnancy. I am a member of the peer-reviewed panel of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, I have worked as an external lecturer at the University of Liverpool and am currently undertaking a PhD study at the University of Central Lancashire, continuing my work exploring the prevention of pregnancy-related back pain and pelvic girdle pain.

Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists
The Acupuncture Association for Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) are a Professional Association who aim to integrate Acupuncture into Physiotherapy Practice for the treatment of pain and illness.
There are various types of AACP membership (e.g. Accredited, Advanced, Student etc) and each has its own set of entry requirements.
