I am a Registered and fully insured Homeopath with 18 years experience working from an NHS GP surgery. I see patients with all sorts of ailments, whether physical mental or emotional, and help patients of all ages from babies to the very elderly. I am also qualified in Nutrition and often recommend dietary changes or supplements relevant to the condition you are suffering from.
I came to train and qualify in this field as a result of my own experience.
My own GP actually suggested Homeopathic treatment when I was unwell without a satisfactory diagnosis, and I have never looked back, eventually deciding to do the 4 year course to qualify, as I became so interested in how and why I had experienced such an improvement in my own health.
I have 2 lovely grown up daughters and live with my husband in Minchinhampton just off the common. I sometimes see patients at home but more often at my twice weekly private clinics in Cirencester at The Park Surgery which is a conventional National Health General Practice. I can also offer home visits.
I enjoy my work immensely and consequently put a great deal of effort into it! Patients often consult a Complementary or Alternative practitioner when at their wits end, so I am used to seeing all types of situations and 'thinking outside the box'.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained for 4 years whilst my children were small, qualifying in 1998. I am Licensed with the British School of Homeopathy and registered with the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths. I participate in lots of ongoing continuing professional development at various seminars and workshops around the country, and there is a lot of new work going on in Homeopathy circles which I like to try and stay abreast of.
In 2007 I qualified as a Nutritional practitioner and use this knowledge alongside my Homeopathic remedies.
I have been in qualified practice now for 22 years, 19 of which have been at The Park Surgery in Cirencester. I very much wanted to be a presence in an ordinary mainstream GP surgery as I believe in the right to choose a different approach in healthcare and that it should not be regarded necessarily as alternative but as complementary. I need my GP and feel they also need Homeopathy to offer to their patients!
So I am used to working with GP's who although not necessarily always wholly supportive of Homeopathy in general do acknowledge my patient satisfaction rate. They have got used to me now after all these years and I'm still here, and they regularly refer patients to me!
Other available therapies
I will also advise on nutritional supplements which I have good knowledge of, if I feel my patient would benefit. I have a qualification in Nutritional Therapy with BSY which helps me to offer this alongside Homeopathy.

Patients registered at The Park Surgery in Cirencester also receive 10% discount on these figures. You do not need to be a Park Surgery patient to consult me however.
If you need help and cannot afford treatment I can offer you easy terms or concessions and i usually have a few patients on my current list who I discount fees for for at least a trial period.
You can telephone me for a chat about your case and what I do, to help decide if you would like to try Homeopathic treatment - no charge.
I can send you a leaflet on request.
I can visit you at your home if that suits you better. I make a small extra charge to cover expenses to do this according to mileage.
I am used to working with patients who are taking various medications prescribed by their GP's. I never recommend that my patients stop taking these drugs but that I work with them and prescribe homeopathic medicines to take alongside them. If and when enough progress is made to consider stopping any drug then that is a decision for the patient with her GP.
If you have been diagnosed with or suspect you may have a pre-existing medical condition you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies, treatments or making any major changes in your diet or exercise programme.
