Julie Melbourne, Homeopath, RSHom., BA (hons), Cert Ed.
My journey with homeopathy began in 1992 when, as an adult, I started having asthma attacks. When a friend suggested I see a Homeopath I was sceptical, but my dislike of using an inhaler was enough for me to give homeopathy a chance. From the very first prescribed remedy, I have never had asthma again and since that time have relied on homeopathic care for all my health needs.
Leaving my job as a manager in a London NHS Teaching Hospital, I returned to the North West where, due to my own very favourable experience of homeopathy, I decided to train as a practitioner. Now, as a fully qualified homeopath, I see time and time again the positive difference homeopathy makes to people’s lives. I like to encourage people to learn to use basic remedies for themselves and family members. To support this I offer a 5 week Introduction to Homeopathy course (evenings) to the general public.
People use homeopathy for a wide variety of conditions, both minor and persistent: physical, mental and emotional, (including those they visit their GP for). Due to a recent ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) ruling Homeopaths are no longer allowed to list conditions of patients they have seen – please do contact me if you want to find out more about Homeopathy and see if it could be suitable for you.
