About me

I am a cranial osteopath with special interest and qualification (M.Sc) in treatment of babies and children. As an osteopath I am interested in helping babies and children develop in a balanced and healthy way and helping them achieve their full potential. Each child is unique and specific to the story of their life and I consider the whole child in examination and treatment. The same remains true of my approach to adults.

As an osteopath I have a detailed knowledge of anatomy and physiology and a highly developed sense of touch which I use to detect and release areas for tension or structural imbalance. Osteopathic treatment is aimed at maintaining good mobility and balance in the framework of the whole body, to provide the optimal physical environment for the body to function and develop.

I run my practice from a room in my house which is a comfortable environment for treating the young. Appointments are up to one hour in order to allow plenty of time for settling and treatment.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a therapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the therapist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
