But this is just the latest event in her studies and passion for essential oils and complementary therapies.
Marie originally qualified as a Clinical Aromatherapist and Masseur in 1993 with CIBTAC and ITEC. In 2005, Marie further qualified with the Penny Price Academy in Advanced Massage, Aromatherapy for Arthritis Care and Pain Management, together with Indian Head Massage. She then took a course in Thermo-Auricular Therapy with the Alda House School of Natural Therapies, established by Linda Stokes, which she then went on to up-grade in 2010 taking the Otoscope training course.
In 2006, she studied a further Deep Tissue Advanced Massage course with Teresa Chilton - a highly respected practitioner and lecturer in the field who regularly works alongside Olympic physiotherapists, doctors and elite athletes.
Further courses have also been completed at the Penny Price Academy in 2009/10, including the Chemistry of Essential Oils, and the use of Hydrolats.
Marie can assure you of the utmost care and comfort, with a dedicated treatment room and off road parking should you decide to book a treatment.
