Joan Colling RCST
I am a fully Registered Craniosacral Therapist and I offers treatments at Natural Medicine Centre, Potter Bar EN6 5DR & Healing Horizons, Waltham Abbey EN9 1EE, & Web of Dreams, Enfield EN2 9DG
In July 2003 I qualified at the College of Craniosacral Therapy (CCST) the largest established Craniosacral Therapy College in Europe. I am also a member of the Craniosacral Therapy Association of the United Kingdom (CSTA) who role is to maintain professional standards of practice and continuous professional development (CPD) training.
Although I am a Craniosacral Therapist over the past twenty years I have studied and qualified in many other complementary therapies, some being Colour Therapy, Reiki Master, Swedish Massage, Hatha Yoga, Mindfulness and Meditation Tutor.
I have worked in a variety of different settings including the educational sector and in private practice which has included working with people with complex needs, physical, cognitive and behavioral difficulties.
My approach to healing work is holistic and my aim is to help people feel better as quickly as possible and with minimal intervention. Over the years and through my training I have developed a sensitive awareness of the body and the role it plays in a person’s mental, emotional and physical well-being. I love to work with the body’s own natural ability to heal itself. Are you ready to take back your life, live normally and do the things you couldn’t. This treatment has a gentle approach to soothes both mind and body. I’ve seen far too many people suffer needlessly with migraines, stiff joints and emotional pain. I am a registered Craniosacral therapist with more than fifteen years experience and working with people of all ages. This therapy is a gentle and safe way to help restore health and well-being. With Craniosacral Therapy we can work together gently, releasing your pain and giving you freedom of movement.
Regular sessions are advised, however, most clients report changes after about three treatments. Following your first initial session you should notice a gentle, yet powerful shifts within forty eight hours of treatment. Everyone experiences Craniosacral Therapy differently, although some clients say these shifts continue infusing their body with peace while releasing pain over time.
Sometimes when trying new ways of finding your way back to health can seem daunting. Please feel free to call me to discuss any concerns or questions that you may have, there is no obligation to take things any further. It is important that you are happy with your choice of therapist to insure and improve the whole body's health with Craniosacral Therapy.

How many sessions will I need?
Craniosacral therapy is tailored to a client's particular needs and state of health. The number of sessions required may vary from person to person. In general, acute conditions can often respond well in just a few sessions, however more chronic issues may require a series of sessions to gain the full benefit from the treatment. It is advisable to have at least 3 initial sessions to fully explore whether Craniosacral therapy is right for you.
£45.00 (session last between 45 to 60 minutes)
Children often respond much more rapidly than adults and therefore require less time for each session. I usually advise 3 initial sessions with perhaps follow-ups to support continued integration as your child grows and develops.
Children Fee (under 12yrs)
£35.00 (30 minute treatment)
