Reiki is a safe gentle, deeply relaxing hands on healing technique which originated in Japan.
The treatment works of multiple levels:
- Physical : The Body and manifested pain
- Emotional : What you are Feeling
- The Mental : What you allow yourself to think
A treatment promotes a deep feeling of tranquillity and allows the mind to de clutter whilst the Reiki energy stimulates the nervous system.
It is harmonising and balancing for your whole system and promotes a more positive outlook.
The Treatment is non intrusive, there is no massage, manipulation or pressure applied. The practitioner lightly places hands just on or above the body. The experience of a treatment is always individual and typically you may feel warmth, or tingling or see colours.
Set hand positions are used to work with the chakras (energy centres of the body) or areas of specific pain.
The Treatment allows you time to deeply relax whilst the energy works to balance your body and mind and is an excellent and effective way to deal with all the challenges life throws at you.
