Each session I bring all the knowledge, experience and treatments I am trained in to treat you with a multi-disciplinary approach. In an hours session, you might receive massage, cupping, manipulations, Acupuncture, a full body assessment, advice on your diet and exercises to take away.
BodyFix Therapies has evolved over many years - it started out as Fitness In Horsham where I specialised in One to One Personal Training, Pilates and Boot camps.
As I worked with people, I realised that for people to train effectively, they needed help to recover from injuries and tight muscles so I trained as a Sports Massage Therapist.
After doing this for a while I wanted to understand more about how to fully help people and not just treat tight muscles.
My search ended when I discovered the ancient Chinese art of Tuina and Acupuncture.
The hospitals in China use these disciplines to treat most problems, not just soft tissue issues - the Chinese approach diagnostics in a completely different way and aim to treat the whole person.
Having these skills in my arsenal now means I am confident that I can help everyone that walks in through my door in one way or another - whether to relieve their pain, release blocked emotions, deal with a sluggish digestive system, relieve stress or anxiety, relieve the symptoms of PMT or help someone sleep through the night.
If you have been diagnosed with or suspect you may have a pre-existing medical condition you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies, treatments or making any major changes in your diet or exercise programme.
