About me

A happier healthier you, from the feet up

Hand to Heal offers you a professional health and well-being service in a beautiful setting. Your therapist, Jane Lorimer holds the highest level of qualification available in the UK, level 5 in clinical duopody reflexology.

Whilst many people enjoy the wonderful relaxation effects of having their feet massaged, clinical reflexology is much more than this. Hand to Heal regularly helps clients with a number of health conditions including the management of pain and inflammation, digestive complaints, pregnancy related symptoms, depression, anxiety and stress and many other issues.

Appointments are available throughout the day and early evening, plus Saturday mornings. You are welcome to book a one-off "taster session" to see how your body responds to the therapy - please contact me to discuss your requirements.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold the highest level of qualification available - level 5 diploma in clinical duopody reflexology.

This qualification is registered under the Nursing Subjects and Vocations Allied to Medicine sector of training, meaning that it has formal recognition within the health disciplines.

I regularly attend further training and continuous professional development courses.  In 2019 I attended the Association of Reflexology approved level 5 course "Five Elements Reflexology" which means I am able to approach treatments using Traditional Chinese Medicine theories as well as the latest western methods of reflexology.

I hold a qualification in Sharing Mindfulness from Cardiff Buddhist Centre.  Its often very useful to be able to teach clients simple mindfulness breathing exercises which they can practice at home.
