About me
I have always had an interest in natural forms of therapy such as Reflexology, Hopi Ear Candling and Reiki. This interest developed into a need to know more and in 2010 I started to explore workshops starting with Hand Reflexology at Otley College in Suffolk. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to take things further and take a Diploma Course in Foot Reflexology using the Light Touch Technique, at Pathways School of Reflexology in Norwich. This was only the start of my journey. After gaining my Diploma in January 2012 I went on to other workshops and courses, initially techniques to further my development with Reflexology, but I also trained in new therapies so I could offer a variety of treatments to suit different tastes
From April 2016 to early 2019 I was a volunteer therapist at St Elizabeth Hospice
I have worked at a variety of Salons and Therapy centres which has provided me with valuable experience and knowledge to develop my business. I now work from home (details on my profile)
I gained a Diploma in Facial Reflex Therapy in September 2023. This version of Reflexology has proved to be very popular

My experience to date includes working self employed at The Beauty House in Woodbridge, and Mia Carmen Beauty, Hair and Spa at David Lloyd Leisure Ipswich, and Refresh Wellness, Ipswich for a short time. I have exhibited and offered taster treatments at a number of Pamper Evenings, at local schools, and the Mind Body and Soul exhibition at Felixtowe and Woodbridge.

The Association of Reflexologists (AoR) is a non-profit making association which aims to provide support to professionally qualified practitioners.
Membership is open to practitioners who have gained an approved qualification or who have provided proof that their training and practical skills meet the standards set by the AoR.
