About me

An experienced clinical Reflexologist, qualified with the International Institute of Reflexology. I also practice Advanced Reflexology Techniques, Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage and Fertility, Pregnancy and preparation for labour. I provide individually tailored reflexology treatments aimed at enabling the body to achieve its own balance and healing, to support conditions such as:

Musculo- skeletal issues: back/neck problems, frozen shoulder, sciatica
Inflammatory conditions: arthritis, gout, hayfever, asthma, eczema, psoriasis
Fertility issues, pregnancy and preparation for labour*
Women's health: PMS, menopause, thyroid and gynaecological problems
Digestion: IBS, constipation
General stress and tension; sleep issues

Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage Techniques - originally developed for post operative lyphodoema (particularly as a result of breast cancer), these techniques are also helpful for autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. See http://www.reflexologylymphdrainage.co.uk/ for further information.

* Women are advised to have 2-3 treatments at reasonable intervals prior to their due date to help prepare the body for labour. Please be aware that reflexology does not under normal circumstances bring on labour, it simply enables the body the relax and prepare for the birth. Reflexology is very subtle working with the Mum's and baby's energies - if the baby is ready, it will arrive!

* For fertility Reflexology, it is recommended that a course of treatments are undertaken, usually commencing with weekly/fortnightly treatments and then moving to monthly treatments over a 6-9 month period.

PLEASE NOTE: I have a policy of only treating male clients who are recommended to me by an existing client.

(There are only a few conditions where receiving reflexology is not advisable, and the above are examples rather than an exhaustive listing, so please contact me if you would like to discuss your particular condition).

About Me

My original career and training were in food and nutrition, and I've always been interested in diet, exercise and well being. Followed by 20 years in senior HR roles, I have a wide understanding of work related stress and how to enable people to return to work and avoid further 'burn out'. I take a wholly holistic approach to working with clients to manage and take control of their health.
