About me

I practice both 5 Element Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the combination of which can lead to the relief of a range of physical and emotional symptoms.  Treatment is tailored to the individual with close attention being paid to the patient's expectations and progress.  The emphasis is always on minimum intervention, helping your body to re-balance itself and find its way back to health.

I treat patients on a one to one basis, using questioning, palpation (touch) and Chinese pulse and tongue diagnosis to inform my treatment.  I have helped women with menstrual problems, pregnancy and post-pregnancy issues through to hot flushes.  I have also treated a range of conditions including hay fever, arthritis, chronic fatigue, asthma and anxiety among others.  For further information as to what acupuncture can help with please visit the British Acupuncture Council's website.

I have a diploma for using acupuncture to treat fertility and gynaecology.

As part of your treatment I may also use Tui Na (Chinese Massage), cupping, Gua Sha and moxibustion.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a BSc in Acupuncture from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading validated by Kingston University.  I also have diplomas in Acupuncture for Fertility and Gynaecology and in Tui Na massage.

As of January 2020 I have been in practice for over 5 years.
