About me

I am a qualified Complementary Health Professional, with over 20 years experience in helping others to improve their health, well-being and performance in all areas of life. I am passionate about the work that I do and also about teaching people how to take responsibility for their own health.

Learning the Alexander Technique gave me total relief from an otherwise debilitating frozen shoulder and played a large part in me being free from the severe asthma I suffered with as a child. Changing my diet cleared up the severe eczema I had for many years and Life Coaching has led me to look at life more positively.

Training, qualifications & experience

I completed my 3 year training at The West Sussex Centre for The Alexander Technique (WSCAT) in 1996 and have been teaching full time ever since. As well as giving individual lessons from my teaching room in Basingstoke, I have given many talks and workshops throughout the South East and abroad. The establishments I have taught/teach at include:
Grayshott Hall Spa and Health Centre
Southampton University
Cranleigh Boys' School
St Swithun's Girls' School
Adult Education Centres in Surrey and Hampshire
Ain-Sham Medical Schools' Congress Cairo

I have a wealth of experience in work-related musculoskeletal disorders and, as a flutist, I particularly enjoy working with musicians of all ages.

In addition to being a teaching member of STAT, I am also a qualified Naturopathic Iridologist, Life Coach and Swedish Massage therapist.
