Learn the Ancient Art of Indian Head Massage in Beautiful Balquhidder Glen

Based in beautiful Balquhidder Glen (near Lochearnhead and within easy reach of Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth and Dundee), Indian Champissage Scotland offers indian champissage head massage courses to clients throughout Scotland and beyond. Formed in 2004,  the organisation has over 10 years’ experience in  indian head massage training and treatments.  Indian Champissage Scotland is accredited by the London Centre of Indian Champissage and provides training in this unique form of Indian Head Massage developed by Narendra Mehta - guru of the British indian head massage movement. It is the only provider of Indian Champissage training in Scotland.  Alison Inglis, your friendly and experienced tutor, has been personally trained by Narendra Mehta to the highest standard and has over 25 years' experience in learning and teaching.

Offers weekend accredited Certificate/Diploma courses in Indian Champissage.

This course provides a comprehensive grounding in the theoretical basis and practical application of Indian Champissage™. Students will be able to use the technique as a principle or subsidiary part of their professional practice.

The Certificate is obtained by attending a 3 day course  which is suitable for beginners.  The Diploma is structured over 4 days involving 3 days tuition and an exam day.  In order to qualify you need to carry out a number of case studies before taking the exam.   The Diploma course is accredited by the Complementary Medical Association (CMA) and 21 CMA CPD points will be awarded.

Day 1: History of Champissage™;  Practical - Massage of the Shoulders; Practical - Massage of the Upper Arms

Day 2: Benefits & Contraindications; Practical - Massage of the Neck; Practical - Massage of the Head

Day 3:  Stress Management; Anatomy, Introduction to Chakra Energy; Practical - Massage of the Face, Ears & Energy Balancing Techniques; Discussion of Exam Format and Case Studies; Issue of Attendance Certificates

Exam Day 4 (6-9 months later): Presentation of Case Studies*; Practical Exam Multiple Choice Exam (60 minutes)

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.


£230 per Certificate/Diploma Course
