Our consultations and treatment times are longer than the average, giving you space and time, to share and engage in their therapy treatments. Whatever phase of your recovery you are in, we trust HLP Therapy can be a part of it.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a BSc (Hons) registered Physiotherapist with the HCPC and the CSP. I started within Physiotherapy in 2002. My specialists are: Cancer care, Neurology and rehabilitation, women's health and post surgery/accident recovery. However, I provide exceptional physio assessments and treatments in all areas. We also use Ultrasound Therapy when required, as part of our Physiotherapy treatments to help with muscle pain and reduced range of movement. So, if you're struggling with a "bad back" a "pulled" muscle, frozen shoulder, or returning to sports, contact HLP Therapy today, to find out how we can help you

I am also a registered Acupuncturist with over 9 years experience. My specialties are: Fertility, sports injuries and global chronic pain. I use acupuncture in a lot of my treatments, to ensure the client always receives a gold standard of care.

In 2018, I completed the Mental Health First Aid England course. This intensive course, provided insight and understanding of the complex nature of many mental health issues. This course also helped me understand, in greater detail, the psychological impact that some individuals experience after trauma.

In early 2019, I trained in Scar Therapy. This gentle, perscribed massaged based treatment, is amazing at reducing the pain some scars can cause. It can also help with the function and feeling of the scar. Combining this gentle treatment with Physiotherapy assessment, knowledge and acupuncture intervention, provides exceptional results.

In 2020, I trained in Sports Massage and also Advanced Rock Taping. Combining these two amazing treatments, can enhance sporting performance, relax the body, help with pain, increase circulation and overall health and well-being.

My Team have outstanding expertise and knowledge in the treatment of injuries and global body pain. Collectively we have over 40 years experience in health. You are our priority. We work together with you, to help you achieve your physical rehabilitation goals.
