About us

The story of HLP Therapy is simple. It was created to provide exceptional treatment and care, for every client who walks through the door. With nearly two decades of experience within Physiotherapy, coupled with Acupuncture, Scar Therapy and Mental Health First Aid training, every treatment incorporates aspects of your physical and emotional wellbeing. It is complete holistic care. I also have a personal understanding of the impact scaring can cause after surgery. This personal experience can also benefit the client’s treatment and recovery. Our clinics are based in a beautiful Georgian building in Narborough, Leicester. Its quiet and relaxed atmosphere is the perfect environment for our in depth assessments and treatments. Our consultations and treatment times are longer than the average, giving the individual the space to share and enjoy the therapy treatments. Whatever phase of your recovery you are in, we trust HLP Therapy can be a part of it.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a BSc (Hons) registered Physiotherapist with the HCPC and the CSP. I started within Physio in 2002. My specialists are: Cancer care and rehabilitation, women's health and post surgery/accident recovery. However, I provide exceptional physio assessments and treatments in all areas. So, if you're struggling with a "bad back" or a torn muscle, contact HLP Therapy today, to find out how we can help you.

I am also a registered Acupuncturist with over 8 years experience. My specialties are: Fertility, sports injuries and global chronic pain. I use acupuncture in a lot of my treatments, to ensure the client always receives a gold standard of care.

In early 2019, I trained in Scar Therapy. This gentle, perscribed massaged based treatment, is amazing at reducing the pain some scars can cause. It can also help with the function and feeling of the scar. Combining this gentle treatment with Physiotherapy assessment, knowledge and acupuncture intervention, provides exceptional results.
