About us

At Herts Wellness Centre we offer a wide range of Podiatric and Chiropody treatments.

General chiropody or routine podiatry refers to treatment of common foot conditions treated by our resident podiatrist. Treatment involves a 40 minute initial consultation where your full medical history will be taken along with any current medications. A neurovascular assessment may also be carried out. Dependent on your treatment needs all follow up appointments are 30 minutes long.

Routine foot care involves the following:

  • Nail care, in-growing toenails, thickened nail reduction, nail cutting for patient`s who have difficulty cutting their own toenails.
  • Fungal nail treatment
  • Corn and callus
  • Foot care and footwear advice
  • Diabetic foot care and full assessments
  • Chilblains
  • Athletes foot
  • Cracked heels and foot wounds

  • Nail Surgery

Even if your feet are generally in good condition, you might consider having a single session of podiatry to have the hard skin on your feet removed, have a neurovascular assessment carried out or find out if you’re wearing the right shoes

We also provide creams, sprays, ointments, dressings and padding's which with your consent be applied at the end of your treatment. Your podiatrist will be able to recommend what's best for you.


We will carry out a detailed video analysis and take 3D scans of your foot with the aim of correcting your posture and alignment by the use of prescription insoles/orthotics and stretching and exercise regimes. Please see our assessment and treatment section for further information

How can a Podiatrists and Chiropodist help?

Training, qualifications & experience

Ashleigh is a HCPC state registered qualified podiatrist with a particular interest in Biomechanics who trained at the University of East London, gaining a degree in Podiatric medicine BsC(hons).

Before training to become a Podiatrist she was already involved in providing health care in the capacity of an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with over 10 years experience. Since qualifying she has worked as a podiatrist both within the NHS and private sector and has gained a broad range of experience of the conditions that can affect the lower limb.

Ashleigh is passionate about Podiatry and prides herself in working to the highest of standards, adopting a holistic approach and exceptional quality of care.
