About us
Golborne Osteopaths' offer a unique approach to osteopathic assessment and treatment of neck, shoulder, back, and low back pain (in fact pain and dysfunction anywhere in the body) that combines traditional osteopathic examination and treatment skills with an in-depth understanding of functional biomechanics.
Our assessments and treatments combine osteopathic examination and treatment skills with an in-depth understanding of functional biomechanics - how the joints, muscles, and nervous system of the body interact with gravity, ground reaction force, and mass and momentum to control and coordinate movement. Our objective is to address not just symptoms, but also the cause of pain and the compensations that are occurring in response to that cause.
