Gillian Watt, Educator & Wellbeing Facilitator @AndBreathe...
Gillian has been passionate about health and wellbeing for many years. Initially as a musician, she experienced performance anxiety, using deep relaxation techniques with good success. She shares her positive outlook on life, in her role as Mum to four and Granny to five (so far!). As teacher and head teacher, the health and wellbeing of pupils and staff was her main focus, as well as encouraging health and wellbeing in the local community. In July 2015, Gillian experienced Septicaemia, Septic Shock and subsequently spent four days in Intensive Care, followed by a very long, challenging recovery, culminating in early retirement from education in 2018. The chronic fatigue has mellowed and is now mostly manageable.
It was mindfulness, yoga, acupuncture and other therapies that got her through the past few years, to where she is today and Gillian believes it is her mission now, to share the tools she has used, so that when others experience tricky times, they will have their very own 'tool kit'. Her 'tools' include EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)/Tapping, Reiki and Mindfulness, using the outdoors and woodland skills as often as possible.
Gillian is a qualified EFT Practitioner, Reiki Practitioner, Pawsb (7-11year olds) Mindfulness and .b (11-18 year olds) Mindfulness facilitator.
She works out of venues across the North East of Scotland and online: Urban Wellness Hub, Bridge of Don (1st & 3rd Mondays of the month) Number One, Banchory (2nd & 4th Mondays of the month) Insch Podiatry, Insch (1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month) Elemental Crystals, Inverurie (2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the month).
All venues are wheelchair accessible. Online EFT appointments are also available for anyone unable to attend face to face appointments.
Not everyone is able to attend favce to face appointments, which is why I offer online EFT appointments. However, I have now launched 'AndBreathe Membership'. I hope this will enable people to begin to gain more knowledge and confidence, in how to maintain day to day positive mental health and wellbeing.

I am Gillian, the person behind AndBreathe... I am a mum of four adult children and granny to a growing gaggle of amazing grandkids! I have a background in music and education but have developed my skills and am now a Wellbeing Facilitator. Welcome to this new chapter! Over the years I have experienced many ups and downs and am now using my skills and experience to positively benefit others.

I have had a couple of EFT sessions with Gillian. I must admit I didn’t think it was going to be for me (I’m not really into alternative/holistic therapies) but I found it really useful for helping with my worries I had around various issues and I left feeling so relaxed. Gillian wants everyone to benefit from these tools. Please contact Gillian if you are unable to pay, due to financial hardship, so that something can be arranged.
EFT: Before the EFT session begins, you will have an opportunity to ask any questions. Gillian will talk you through what will happen, before guiding you through the first Tapping round. The Tapping points are on the face, head and upper body. You will be Tapping on yourself. No need for special clothing (and yes, you do keep clothes on!).
EFT for animals: Gillian has had a close affinity with animals her whole life, so it is only natural that she wants animals to benefit from complementary therapies too. The animals do not have to be present, so the appointments can take place at the venues listed.
Reiki: For a Reiki session wear comfortable clothing, in order to feel at ease.
Reiki for animals: Animals LOVE Reiki! Please contact Gillian if you wish your four-legged friend to receive Reiki, in order to arrange a mutually convenient time and place.
