About me

I am a mobile reflexologist who offers you this treatment in the comfort of your own home. I also offer treatments at Ongar Leisure Centre on a Wednesday evening.

In addition to Reflexology, I offer Pre Conception Reflexology, Maternity Reflexology and Hot Stone Reflexology.

Reflexology is the application of gentle pressure to the reflex areas on the hands and feet. These reflex areas correspond to different parts of the body and by accessing these areas, a therapist may be able to find areas of congestion. This might identify parts of the body that may not be functioning effectively.

Reflexology allows you to create a direct response to specific areas of your body through your feet. It aims to relax, restore balance and rejuvenate the body.

Supporting Conception

This type of reflexology can be beneficial to both partners whilst trying to concieve. Infertility causes stress and stress causes infertility. Reflexology is proven to reduce stress which may increase your chances of conceiving.

Reflexology can encourage ovulation and help to balance the hormones in the body, creating a calm and balanced environment for pregnancy.

IVF

Reflexology can be used to support couples throughout each stage of their IVF journey.  The treatment can encourage the body to relax, improve your mood, encourage good sleep, relieve stress and tension and prepare the body for the next step of the process.

Supporting Maternity

Recent studies have shown that reflexology in pregnancy

  • Significantly reduced pain during labour
  • Reduced the length of the first stage of labour
  • Improved quality of sleep in post natal women
  • Reflexology may also help with common pregnancy complaints such as nausea, spd, low energy, lack of sleep, back pain and digestive issues.

From 37 weeks you can also have specialised reflexology which can sometimes help to encourage labour.

Hot Stone Reflexology

Hot Stone Reflexology has all of the benefits of a normal Reflexology treatment. However, the heat from the hot stones takes it to another level of relaxation which can not be put into words.
The warm stones help to instantly relax the body and it allows the therapist to work the reflexes to a much deeper level.

This treatment can only be described as pure luxury.

About me

I trained as a reflexologist after suffering from my own fertility problems. I was diagnosed with unexplained infertility and as a result I started to look for alternative therapies and came across reflexology. After having regular reflexology treatments, I fell pregnant and I went on to have my first child. I am now a mother to 3 girls.

I have no doubt that reflexology put me on the right path to motherhood and I am passionate about the benefits that it can bring to others who suffer from a variety of health conditions.

Training, qualifications & experience

I studied at The London School of Reflexology and was taught by Louise Keet who was described by The Mail on Sunday as Britain’s leading reflexologist.

I have a Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology and I have qualified in Pregnancy and Pre-Conception Reflexology and Hot Stone Reflexology

I am a full member of The Association of Reflexologists (AoR) and I am fully covered with the necessary insurance.
