Elaine Walker R.S.Hom., P.C.H., M.Sc.
I'm a holistic practitioner in Kent, working in Canterbury and Sandwich. I have counselling skills and many years experience as a homeopath. I qualified in 1988 and since then have worked hard on my practical and theoretical skills. I have been in full time practice now for 24 years, and have also achieved a M.Sc in homeopathy. I see many patients a week and have a great deal of experience in treating many diseases. I particularly enjoy working with children and teenagers although I also see a lot of adults in my practice.
Homeopathy is a well-researched form of treatment, it is a gentle therapy with very few side effects and can be used in conjunction with orthodox drugs.
Homeopathy can be used at the same time as orthodox medicine, and has far less side effects.
Training, qualifications & experience
My initial interest was in child development and education, and so I trained as a teacher in 1975. After working in schools for some years, I had my first child and then finished a four year course in homeopathy at the School of Homeopathy in1988 and have been working solely as a homeopath and teacher of homeopathy ever since.
I have taught at several of the homeopathic training colleges in the UK and for many years have been a module leader at the Purton House School of Homeopathy on the B.Sc. course at the University of West London. I did a postgraduate training course in homeopathy at the Dynamis School and have recently completed an M.Sc. in homeopathy at the University of Central Lancashire
Having initially trained in counselling in 1988, I then trained as a life coach and I have recently embarked on a course in bereavement counselling with Cruse.
I have bought up two children on homeopathy, as well as a variety of animals, as I know that it is the best way to keep them healthy.
