About me

Donna is currently seeing clients at the Soma Room in Ealing Broadway, London.

The treatment offered are:

Advanced clinical massage

Advanced Clinical Massage is an outcome-based technique developed by JING that combines a range of different techniques. It is especially effective in treating chronic pain, postural imbalances and acute injuries. The ultimate aim is to minimise your pain and maximise your pain-free time between sessions.

I use a variety of techniques selected especially for your pain condition. These can include:

  • Myofascial release (direct & indirect)
  • Trigger point therapy
  • Soft tissue release
  • Deep tissue work
  • Stretching

Hawaiian massage (Lomi Lomi)

Ka Huna massage is an ancient, profoundly healing and relaxing type of bodywork unlike anything you have ever experienced before.

Based on the principles of Aloha – the Hawaiian word for unconditional, sacred love for all life – the quality of Ka Huna listening touch communicates love and compassion. It is the supportive touch that liberates us from the stresses of life and confirms the body-mind's expectations of what unconditional love truly is.

Working with awareness and focused intention on blockages, the flowing, dance-like strokes mimic the waves of the ocean. Forearms, hands and elbows are used to cover every muscle and ligament from head to toe in a continuous flow.

These deep, gliding strokes guide our mind into a deep meditative state honouring the body's innate wisdom and ability to self heal.

This massage aims to dissolve the processes that limit us from embodying our fullest potential. Experience for yourself how the power of Aloha can help you step into a more positive, connected state of living.

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is a unique style of massage that combines Indian deep tissue massage with coordinated breathwork and yoga stretching. The session is performed on a mat to allow free movement and flow.

Throughout the treatment, the therapist guides the recipient to maintain a steady, deep rhythmic flow of breath, preferably in and out through the nose, although a powerful exhalation through the mouth can assist release into some of the deeper stretches. This turns the massage into a moving meditation that recognises the benefits of the movement of prana throughout the body.

Another unique tool of the Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is the use of Calamus powder – an ancient medicinal root – which, when mixed with a little oil, creates a pleasant exfoliating feeling.

In Ayurvedic Yoga Massage, the body is considered to be a reflection or storehouse of the subconscious. During your session we aim to release tensions and blockages, helping you to achieve a deeper level of healing.

About Donna:

Donna was surrounded by massage from an early age. She was taught by her mother, who is a clinical massage therapist and teacher. Donna originally moved to the UK as a professional dancer, but soon found she enjoyed treating her fellow dancers more than the performing itself. Now with 7 years experience in bodywork, Donna has spent the last 3 years travelling all over the world with high-profile sporting events. Donna's life passion is to help people feel better and she believes that for true healing to occur, all areas of one's being must be addressed; the physical, mental, spiritual and emotional.

Donna is always looking to forward her training – she is currently training in advanced clinical massage and seeks to help people suffering from long term chronic pain. Donna has also been training in indigenous healing practices for the last two years with a traditional Amazonian shaman from Ecuador.

Donna sees the client-therapist relationship as a sacred space in which to learn and work together, with an emphasis on clearing the blocks that prevent individuals from tapping into the fullest most fulfilling version of themselves.
