About us

Balbirnie Physiotherapy is a Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic based just off the A92 in Glenrothes.

Balbirnie Physiotherapy utilises highly effective treatments such as Mobilisation, Manipulation, Acupuncture, Soft Tissue Massage, Exercise Prescription and other techniques such as Taping. All of which to help reduce pain and allow you to achieve your goals. We do not machines. If your condition requires further investigation, recommendations will be put in writing to your GP.

Get your condition diagnosed and treated quickly and correctly by a fully qualified specialist physiotherapist. It is well known that the sooner musculoskeletal conditions are treated, the less chance there is of them becoming a longstanding problem. This means a quicker return to work and sports etc.

As well as giving you hands on treatment, we will educate you on your condition and teach you how to manage it on a daily basis. This will ensure that you get the most beneficial results from your episode of care.

We are skilled in treating the following common complaints as well as many others;

  • Spinal complaints such as disc prolapse and spondylitis (degeneration) etc.
  • Joint problems such as arthritis or frozen shoulder etc.
  • Muscle, tendon and ligament injuries or complaints such as shoulder impingment syndrome, tennis elbow, ligament sprains etc.
  • Posture abnormalities
