Cheryl from Chez Salu offers naturopathic support, advice and guidance to anyone looking to improve their health. Treatments are offered from Wood Street Wellbeing in Old Town, Swindon and Neal’s Yard Remedies therapy rooms in Newbury. Skype and telephone consultations are also available on request.
Naturopathic consultations can help with a wide variety of health conditions, from digestive disorders to fertility issues, from anxiety to weight loss, and include a mix of nutritional advice, herbal medicine, flower essences, iridology and bodywork therapies (such as massage, ear candling and Reiki) to provide the best and most appropriate treatment for you.
Your first consultation will last 1 hour and will include a detailed case history plus an assessment of your diet and lifestyle. Together, we will create a personalised treatment plan that is suitable and doable for you to optimise your health and wellbeing.
Extensive research into the links between emotions and the immune system supports the connection between the emotional and physical state; in most cases of disease there is an underlying imbalance. I believe that this is your body's way of communicating with you, and trust that once this imbalance is corrected then good health will follow.
I am dedicated to motivating, educating and empowering you towards improved health and wellbeing.
Call 07809 761446 or email to make an appointment. We can arrange this at a time that's convenient for you.
Advance bookings only. Evening and weekend appointments are available. Telephone consultations are available for some treatments on request.
“I made an appointment with Cheryl when experiencing extreme fatigue and suffering from acute soreness affecting muscles in my neck and shoulder areas, along with uncomfortable tummy pains. I found her gentle and caring personality so welcome after the coldness of the doctor’s surgery. Her professional advice on much needed supplements, together with dietary and lifestyle changes required to combat the stress I was suffering from, made a huge difference in helping me make a speedy recovery. Cheryl’s advice was also invaluable for making informed decisions improving my health going forwards. I would highly recommend her to anyone considering a more natural and caring approach to better health and wellbeing.” - Ellen Prince
“Superb level of service. Cheryl has been a life saver (literally)! My nervous system and gut health are much improved as is my baseline mood. This time last year I was suffering with chronic illness and full of fear for the future, I thought my life was over. I doubted whether I would ever recover from clinical depression/anxiety. Now I have hope.
It's been a long road to recovery, and I'm still on it, but Cheryl has made it a lot less difficult and bearable thanks to her very personable demeanor, generosity of her time, and kindness. She is also very mindful of budget, and makes recommendations which are best for the patient.
I would score Cheryl 5* and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone suffering with stress/anxiety related nervous system illnesses. A very BIG thank you Cheryl for all that you have done to help me get this far, which I would not have been able to do without your extensive knowledge of holistic health.” - Alex B
"I am grateful to have found Cheryl at what was a very emotional time for me, I didn't realise how my feelings affected my body and at that time the way I dealt with my everyday life. I came to Cheryl to ease my shoulder pain and she has given me so much more than I expected, her holistic advice has been a breath of fresh air and has helped me feel so much better. She has a very gentle way which I feel gives nourishment and care each time I see her. After the appointment, I feel calm and rested and I always have a very restful sleep that evening. She is a special person who I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone who needs to take a step back and have time for themselves.... it is so surprising what your body needs that you didn't even think about until you do." - Debbie W
