Having studied acupuncture and Chinese medicine, achieving a BSc (Hons) degree and Licentiate at the world-renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, Charley treats a wide range of physical and emotional conditions using an integrated approach of both traditional Chinese medicine and five element acupuncture.
Acupuncture is an ancient form of Chinese medicine dating back more than two thousand years. Fine, sterile and disposable needles are inserted into specific acupuncture points on the body, which are located on lines called meridians.
Inserting acupuncture needles into the points redirects the body's vital energy known as Qi. The Qi is then channeled into the areas of need, in order to unblock, harmonise and help the body reach optimal health. This principle of traditional and five element acupuncture focuses on discovering the root cause of disease, treating the underlying source of symptoms, both physical and emotional.
Charley is passionate about providing a non-intrusive approach to healthcare, which allows the body and mind to naturally rebalance and function at its full potential.
She is a fully insured member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) the UK’s main regulatory body for the safe practice of traditional acupuncture
