About me

Effective release of myofascial tissue can ease pain and  significantly aid recovery.  My techniques are gentle, relaxing, release tension, increase blood and lymph flow and allow the body to realign and do its own healing.  Anyone can benefit including babies and the very old.

I use BOWEN THERAPY, EMMETT TECHNIQUE, NST (Neurostructural Integration) and AMT (Applied Myoskeletal Therapy).

MSTR (McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release) is a highly effective technique for normalising scar tissue.

TRAUMA Release - if you suffer from anxiety, depression and have pain, you may need expert help on how to release old patterns within the nervous system.  I have found very simple techniques to achieve this with wonderful results.

I work with people on many different issues.  Most come with unresolved pain, such as back, neck, shoulders, joints etc.  Others come with conditions such as asthma, migraine, CFS/ME, fibromyalgia, sinusitis, arthritis, stress, sports injury.

I co-founded Leicester Children's Bowen Clinic in 2004 and completed a pilot study on 'The Perceived Effects of Bowen Therapy On Children With Cerebral Palsy'.  I still treat children and babies for a variety of complaints.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am highly trained, experienced and passionate that everyone can be helped in some way.

With 25 years in the natural health sector I have helped many people on their healing path.

I belong to BTPA (Bowen Therapist's Professional Association) and am a member of the professional standards authority called the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council, CNHC.

I meet regularly with other therapists and continually update my training for Continuing Professional Development.
