About me

Hi..my name is Cathy...

I am a qualified clinical Hypnotherapist and Counsellor, accredited EFT practitioner and Meditation Teacher.

I trained at the UEA in Norwich and am approved by the Royal College of Nursing and a Professional Member of the Hypnotherapy Society. I offer a respectful and sincere service, using an individual approach with all clients.

Recognising that we are all unique, I use a variety of different techniques to be able to realise individuals' needs these include:

  • guided imagery
  • suggestion therapy
  • analytical hypnotherapy
  • regression
  • positive reinforcements
  • emotional freedom techniques (EFT)
  • practical habit breaking techniques
  • consious awareness exercises
  • word association therapy

I also include personalised hypnotherapy recordings for clients to use at home.

I have found the combination of hypnotherapy and practical awareness exercises enables clients to make progress in a very real way in and outside of the sessions.

I am a fully qualified fertility and hypnobirth practitioner, this incredible programme is unique - it was developed by a Midwife and Hypnotherapist team combining the experience of over 20 years of the best of both. I can work with couples on an individual basis or as part of a class setting. Classes for 2015 will be confirmed over the coming weeks.

I teach Meditation Classes in some of the most beautiful settings around Norfolk...Please get in contact for the next availability. These classes will teach you how to meditate, include a different meditation in every class and you will find confidence in this ancient technique to be able to use this at home.

I work as resident therapist at Paston Sixth Form College with my 'Exam Support Programme' developed to give students practical and empowering techniques so they can achieve their goals with calm and control in the exam season.

I work from my private practice in Brundall near to Norwich with free parking and no reception to check in with. I hold evening clinics  and under some circumstances it can be arranged for me to visit you in your own home, extra charges may apply. I am also fully insured.
