About us

Hi! I’m Kirsten from Bluebell Reiki in Tadley, Hampshire.

I’m so thrilled you’ve taken the time to read this. Welcome!

I was drawn to studying Reiki Healing due to its power, safety and non-invasive qualities. It’s an area of study that I am passionate about developing further and have been told, by current clients, that I have a gift for Reiki Healing.

So, what is Reiki Therapy?

It’s an ancient Japanese healing therapy that has gained recognition as a complementary therapy within the NHS in recent years and works alongside allopathic medicine (GP/Consultant etc) safely and effectively..

It's a powerful, gentle, holistic healing modality that promotes relaxation, healing and calm to the whole person (mind, body and spirit) in a chaotic world.

I feel privileged to offer this treatment/therapy, which ones apply to you? :

  • need to destress, especially post-Covid
  • promoting deep relaxation during IVF/pregnancy
  • relieve pain, naturally
  • treat migraines
  • improve sleep
  • address illness/effects of medication
  • anxiety/grief
  • people on their cancer journeys
  • natural help for those of us who are sick and tired of feeling sick and tired
naturally helping you to gain a sense of harmony, peace and balance.

I have treated NHS nurses, corporate managers, anxious students, people undergoing their cancer journeys, people with terminal diagnoses, people with arthritis and chronic pain, people with migraines, anxiety, depression and sleep deprivation issues.

Of those I have seen for three or more sessions, all have reported improvements.

In my opinion, it’s so important that professional practitioners keep their egos out of the way and avoid making promises and wild claims about the results that can be achieved.

As practitioners, we simply offer this natural treatment to the client and observe and notify them of our observations.

In no way should a Reiki Practitioner diagnose/advise on any medical issues. I feel it’s my personal responsibility to encourage clients to check out any symptoms with their own GP. It’s also part of the code of ethics I signed up to with the UK Reiki Federation.

I currently charge £40 per hour, although I am currently offering a £30 session to NHS staff in recognition of their incredible hard work and compassion during the pandemic.

What should I expect?

It’s a bit like a nice lie down with warm hands on/above you.

It’s a chance to chill; deeply, soothingly and naturally drug free.

A chance to have someone help you to relax and allow the healing energy to flow, creating a sense of tranquility and calm in and around you.

I qualified at Reiki First Degree last year and continued to study and practise voraciously over lockdown (family only, of course) while I waited for a face to face opportunity to study further under a renowned Reiki Master who has been teaching Reiki for over 25 years as a Master teacher.

I have, under her tutelage, qualified as a Traditional Usui Reiki Practitioner having passed my Second Degree Reiki qualifications and receiving my attunements (face to face) this year.

I’m fully insured, registered with the UK Reiki Federation and DBS checked and cleared.

I always issue new clients with a form (client details and medical information) to complete in full, to sign and return together with a Covid Questionnaire to ensure proper safety. These details remain confidential at all times.

For hygiene reasons, I ask that people bring their own mask, pillow and/or snuggle-blanket to cover themselves over with if desired.

For those who can’t tolerate incense burning, I use essential oils in a water vaporizer to avoid potential throat/chest irritation.

I am currently developing my skills further with advanced study in other areas of holistic healing, not to mention looking to gain my Master Reiki Practitioner and Master Reiki Teacher qualifications in the next 1-2years.

Give me a call and I’ll happily answer any questions you might have.

I work from home in a private Reiki Room which is hygienically cleaned and sanitised before and after each session.

I’m offering free taster sessions over half-term for those who have not yet experienced the joy and gentle healing of Reiki relaxation.

Please contact me by email or text me 07465604873 to arrange a taster session over the half-term week.

You’re in safe hands.

I look forward to seeing you soon.
