About us

David offers Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and Medicine and treats a wide range of medical conditions using acupuncture. David has a particular interest in spinal/neck conditions and offers spinal manipulation in addition to acupuncture for these conditions. He is also qualified to carry out acupressure massage and muscle energy techniques (MET) which is extremely affective for treating sport related injuries

His Clinic Dao Holistic Therapy is in the centre of Stalybridge in Tameside and is very accessible both by car and public transport. He offers reduced rate affordable acupuncture for patients with longer term conditions who need to make multiple bookings

Training, qualifications & experience

David Bailey completed 4 years training in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at the prestigious Northern College of Acupuncture 8 years ago and has continually practised acupuncture since.  He also completed 3 years training in Chinese Herbal Medicine and offers prescription service at his practice in Stalybridge for a wide range of medical conditions

He is a member of the British Acupuncture Council, the governing body for acupuncturists that ensures all practitioners meet high standards. He also has a particular interest in Spinal Manipulation, neck and back conditions and has attended a number of advanced spinal manipulation courses at Osteon in London. He is fully insured to carry out spinal manipulation procedures on patients.

All members of the BAcC (MBAcC) have BSc or BA degree level training or its equivalent in traditional acupuncture, Chinese medicine, and western biomedical sciences including anatomy, physiology and pathology.
