The treat not the treatment
‘The treat not the treatment’ by Keith Hunt MBE.
Keith is a complementary therapy co-ordinator and runs workshops at the Royal Free Hospital.
This workshop is for all therapists who wish to work in a clinical environment and feel comfortable with the change in work style when working with life limiting illness.
We finish the day with lots of theory work and practical skills. Added CPD points. New techniques in your toolbox, your name added to a list of practitioners that we are collecting who are suitable for these types of clients and the joy of meeting like-minded people.
The workshop is predominantly for massage therapists who wish to work in a hospital or hospice setting however the theory will benefit all complementary therapists as the rules of the care are similar. The theory also includes setting up a service in either a hospice or hospital.
The Royal Free Foundation Trust offers over 34 thousand treatments a year.
