Tera Mai™ Reiki 1 class

The Tera Mai Reiki 1 class is ideal for anyone who has an interest in learning how to channel healing energy for themselves or others. It is the essential first step on the path to becoming a professional healer and will also add a deeper healing experience to any therapist who uses their hands to treat people or animals.

It is not just for therapists though, anyone looking to enhance their spiritual journey and personal enlightenment will benefit greatly from this powerful class.

Reiki is an incredibly ancient form of healing that was rediscovered relatively recently in Japan by Dr Mikao Usui, hence its Japanese name, meaning 'spiritually guided life-force'. Since its introduction to the modern world, many different types and names of Reiki have appeared, some of questionable origin, but Tera Mai Reiki Masters have a lineage that can be traced back to Dr Usui himself. My personal lineage is 11 generations, or Reiki masters, from Dr Usui. 

During the class, you will receive the Reiki 1 initiations which open the upper four chakras to receive the Reiki ray of energy. You will then learn the hand positions to treat yourself, which you must commit to doing every day for three weeks. This can be a profound experience by the end of which your entire energetic vibratory rate has increased fourfold, literally enlightening you.

You will learn about the chakra system and you will also have plenty of practice at giving and receiving individual and group healings. I am also passionate about the healing power of crystals so my classes always include information about crystals and how they work.

After the class, there are ongoing optional evening classes for any who would like to practise healing, take part in group meditations and chat with other like-minded souls.
