JOINT PRACTICE aims to facilitate an open exchange about our work as practitioners rather than offering teaching on particular techniques or protocols. We share our triumphs and our vulnerabilities, our beliefs and our doubts about our respective practices. Coming to the workshops is like receiving a treatment; we have the opportunity to slow down and listen to ourselves and our colleagues in a spacious, warm and supportive environment.

In SHADOWS AND STRENGTHS we look at what personal gifts we bring to our work as therapists and what pitfalls we face. Can we look at ourselves objectively and find some answers? In this workshop we explore our strengths and shadows as practitioners, and how they might affect our work with clients. Can we continue to grow as therapists if we only listen to our clients’ stories and fail to listen to our own?

The day will be a mixture of led discussion and hands on practical work and will qualify for 6 hours of CPD.

The workshop is open to Complementary Bodyworkers of all disciplines.
