Reiki and Seichem level 1 and the violet flame
Reiki began with a man named Mikao Usui. He was born in Japan in 1864 and died in 1926. It is believed that he was a Christian monk, but in Japan there is no evidence of that. If anything, he seemed to be swayed by Buddhism and Qigong. He was a businessman and no longer pleased with his life and his failed business. Usui asked for something more important in life than worldly possessions when he was meditating. Usui had to undergo a near-fatal three-week fasting meditation before he received the healing empowerment of the system. On the 21st day of his meditation, energy rushed through the top of his head, Usui had a flash of insight or what might be known as enlightenment. It is stated, that Reiki began in Japan at that point.
Reiki is a Japanese term. A more literal translation for Rei is the natural spirit, the holy or the gift. Ki is translated as vital energy or feeling. The translation that has developed over time is 'the universal life force'.
Reiki is non-religious. It can be allowed and accepted by anyone regardless of faith, culture or creed. It can be applied with someone lying or sitting, which makes it accessible for disabled people with physical disabilities.
The First Degree focuses on physical healing and self-healing. It is important to cleanse and heal ourselves first and before we embark on the highest work, that can be done for others. This class and the attunement turns the power on. It is similar to putting the key into the lock of a lightbox and opening it just a bit.
The aura and chakras have their first cleansing release. This degree opens the student to the ideas of utilizing Reiki for our animals, our friends, food, plants, our homes and our workplaces and our own physical bodies. Reiki energy is truly for the good of all not just the good of humans.
Reiki is the attunement to the earth energy & Seichem introduces the missing part of air, fire and water using the four elements as a balanced energy healing system.
There are no pre-requisites for this course, and it can be followed by Reiki and Seichem level 2.
