Have you ever considered the fact that your medicine may not be vegan or vegetarian?

Meet Varsha Soneji, a qualified medical herbalist who uses plant-based medicine to help her clients overcome all sorts of ailments.

She herself is a life-long vegetarian and almost vegan. She believes in using what nature has provided to heal conditions that can be acute or chronic. She uses herbs in a responsible way where appropriate and refers her clients to their GP if she feels that drugs are more appropriate.

In this talk, in collaboration with London vegans, she will tell you about some of the herbs that you can use at home to overcome and prevent winter illnesses. Herbs that boost immunity, shorten the duration of illness and herbs that bring about healing by working with the body's natural ability to heal itself.

These herbs won't just suppress symptoms but get to the root causes.

Admission: £2 at the door (£1 if unwaged/not working).

Refreshments will be available for a small donation.

Please arrive at 7 pm for a prompt 7.30pm start.

You may wish to bring pen and paper to take notes and jot down any questions you may have.

You will also be able to purchase herbal teas, hand blended by Varsha.

You deserve to feel better.
