The sister sciences of ayurveda and yoga originate from the same ancient vedic source and having stood the test of time are hugely relevant today. With the popularisation of ayurveda, more and more connections are being made with the global yoga movement.  Together these sciences offer a holistic lifestyle model for preventing disease, self-healing and sustainable health and well-being, to support longevity, deeper spiritual growth, and self-realisation.

This course over three Saturdays will explore the fundamental principles of ayurveda in relation to applied yoga for personalised self-care, holistic living, and well-being. It aims to provide a practical roadmap of authentic concepts to effectively utilise the tools of yoga and ayurveda. The course is offered to all levels of interest and enquiry to integrate ayurveda and yoga into everyday living for optimum health and well-being. A detailed schedule of each day is available on the Facebook events page.

Dr. Vijay Murthy and Kim Kriyasagar are collaborating to offer specialist ayurvedic and yogic teaching. Dr Vijay Murthy from Ayuwave.com has been practising and teaching ayurveda since 1994, he trained with the Bihar School of Yoga, is a health researcher, a keynote speaker and a health radio show host. Kim Kriyasagar from kriyaayurveda.co.uk has been teaching yoga since 1992 and practising ayurveda since 2010. Together Dr Murthy and Kriyasagar offer insights into the traditional and contemporary connections between ayurveda and yoga for physical and mental well-being and deeper spiritual growth.

This three-day course offers practical guidance and a set of tools to support your individual exploration of ayurveda and yoga for improved health and well-being.
