When things in our life become messy, cluttered and unorganised it can cause a surprising amount of stress. Think about it, if you’re running around looking for something or you’re missing appointments, it’s unlikely you are the picture of calm.
Incorporating a few simple routines to your day can help you feel more organised and therefore help eliminate unnecessary stress.
1. Schedule the week ahead
Look to take some time every Sunday evening to look at what you need to do in the upcoming week. Schedule your important appointments first (doctors, dentist, work meetings etc.) and then schedule self-care. This means scheduling time for exercise, time for rest and time for having fun!
