Taking care of your body and mind is hugely important – we are strong advocates of self-care and encourage scheduling time for ‘you’ each day. But achieving self-love can be an entirely different journey.
While everybody is unique and will often take a different route, here are our top tips for achieving self-love, or at least taking the first steps.
Take care of your body
Health plays a big part in our overall well-being. Eating healthy, nutritious meals and making sure you get your body moving is a great first step to self-love. You don’t have to join a gym and workout five times a week – if you want to do that, go for it – but if you aren’t able, or aren’t ready to go all out in a new exercise regime, just ensure you set aside time to move your body. This may be a walk, a swim, joining a yoga class or taking up a sport with friends.
