The promise of a new year and a fresh start can be intoxicating and you may want to dive straight in to setting goals and intentions, but taking some time to reflect on the past first is incredibly useful.
Doing this needn’t be a chore. There are plenty of reflection journals and prompts online to help, but all you really need is a pen, some paper and your brain.
