What does it involve?
The practitioner looks to connect with your ‘Theta state’, which is a deeply relaxed level of your subconscious. It is here that he/she will be able to access negative beliefs and rid them from your mind before reprogramming you with more positive thoughts.
To uncover your core negative beliefs, Theta healers will use a technique called ‘muscle testing’. This involves holding your thumb and forefinger together while your healer reads negative statements aloud. He/she will then try to pull apart your fingers to get a yes or no answer from your subconscious.
Once a core negative belief has been identified, your practitioner will ‘clear’ them from your subconscious before testing again to see if they’re gone. Positive thoughts and feelings are then programmed into your subconscious to replace these beliefs.
The results can leave you feeling incredible cleansed and relaxed, feeling like a spring clean for the mind. Other therapy techniques that can help to ease stress include crystal therapy, thought field therapy, reiki and kinesiology.
