My name is Victoria Gosher the founder of Your Hands Can Heal School of Reiki, the professional approach to learning Reiki with no short cuts. Here at the school students are taught the A-Z of what is necessary to know in order to become a confident practitioner.
I offer the following: Courses, Treatments, Events & a monthly Reiki Share to all those with a first degree Reiki certificate.
Courses Taught: Usui Shiki Ryoho First degree Reiki incorportaing the Hands-on Healing training, Second degree Reiki, The Advanced Reiki Training/3a, The Master/Teacher Reiki Training, Karuna Reiki (R) Practitioner levels I, 2 & Master Teacher Levels.
I am based in the picturesque village of TICEHURST East Sussex Nr. Tunbridge Wells, where I practice and teach Reiki. I hold small support circles for my new first degree Reiki students in between the main bi-monthly Reiki Circles.
The bi-monthly Reiki Circle is held in the village hall in BELLS YEW GREEN next door to Frant Station on the London/Hastings line. Servicing the TUNBRIDGE WELLS, in the KENT the EAST SUSSEX area with easy access from CENTRAL LONDON.
Access is easy, only a 1 minute walk from Frant Station with plenty of parking across the road. The bi-monthly Reiki circles are open to anyone who has trained in Reiki and has their first degree Reiki certificate.
I am qualified in both Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki and Karuna Reiki® disciplines as a master practitioner and teacher. I trained in Johannesburg in South Africa and have practiced Reiki in South Africa, Israel and England. I founded the school in the autumn of 2004, which is constantly expanding with students of all ages. I teach only Reiki. I do not subscribe to being a Jack of all trades and master of none. I do not offer "weekend courses". Reiki is a long journey, not a destination. Every person, young or old, male or female has the ability to heal themselves. Healing is a gift that we need to develop within ourselves. Hopefully, I can assist in kick-starting that journey for you.
I am a master/teacher Reiki practitioner and am a member of The Reiki Association and am registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council as a verified practitioner.
The courses are aimed at beginners through to the Master/Teacher Level. I also teach Karuna Reiki® levels Practitioner I, II and the Karuna Reiki® Master/Teacher level.
I always advise all potential Reiki students to experience a full Reiki treatment with me prior to committing themselves to a Reiki course. Students find this extremely beneficial, especially once the course starts.
Reiki is an extremely effective ancient healing technique which works with energy and is a wonderful tool for fixing stress, which affects everyone in our modern busy lifestyles. Emotional stress has a very negative and direct effect on our physical bodies. In depth courses and ongoing support for all students. The main style of Reiki taught at the school is Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki, thereafter once students have gained the necessary Advanced Usui Shiki Ryoho training, they may register for Karuna Reiki (R) practitioner training. The first degree course is aimed at beginners through to advanced as well as the Master/Teacher Level, but I also re-teach students who feel that they need to expand on their training in order to feel more confident. This is where the Hands-on Healing training is so valuable.
The human body has its own disease fighting mechanism – it is called the immune system. Reiki enhances the immune system’s ability to fight off dis-ease. Reiki assists the body to purify itself, resulting in improved functionality of all the organs. Our thoughts and emotions carry energy. If we are carrying poor quality energies within ourselves, it is easy for us to become “depressed” and “negative”. This in turn leads to a downward spiral of poor health. This will ultimately manifest in our physical and mental bodies. Reiki has become as well known as other mainstream complementary therapies such as reflexology, aromatherapy and acupuncture. Reiki is the perfect therapy for stress management.
However, Reiki is not a quick fix, but rather a long-term route to good health and better quality of life. Thus regular treatments are encouraged. After the initial treatment, it is recommended to receive a course of a least four treatments. These should ideally be spaced 3-4 days apart for maximum benefit. Thereafter, depending on the severity of the condition being treated, either a twice monthly or monthly “maintenance programme” is suggested.
Teaching Reiki First Degree (incl. Hands-on Healing), Second Degree (practitioner level), Advanced Reiki and Reiki Master/Teacher Level.
Karuna Reiki (R) – practitioner level 1, Karuna Reiki (R) – practitioner level 2 &
Karuna Reiki (R) – Master/Teacher level
I have been telling people about my experience with the Hands-on Healing Course. After doing Reiki 1 and 2 elsewhere I did feel a little out on a limb and wanted some more knowledge, experience and understanding. It was reassuring to know that I could go back to a more solid foundation to gain further insight into Reiki. In going back to the basics I have become more confident as a Practitioner.
Victoria's teaching is thorough, comprehensive and enjoyable. The Hands on Healing Manuals are a valuable tool of reference. Not only does Victoria freely impart her knowledge, which is vast, she is incredibly encouraging, supportive and enthusiastic. She wants her students to do well and is approachable in every way as well as being thoroughly entertaining. The course fulfilled and surpassed my expectations and I would recommend this to anyone who wishes to either start or progress on their Reiki journey.
Michelle Sanson - Reiki Practitioner
My first Reiki treatment with Victoria was so amazing that I decided to go on her Hands on Healing course. The first part was so exciting that I then completed my first degree Reiki. Her courses are very well structured and thorough, all her students complete to the highest standard before being able to continue to the next level ensuring first class students and practitioners. She also continues to support her students through regular healing circles.
I truly feel I have made some good friends and know I will make many more through my Reiki journey.
So 'just for today I will not worry.'
