Here at Taylored Massage our aim is to supply the appropriate massage for you, tailored to your needs and requirements. If you thought all massages were the same, you are in for a surprise!Here is a brief summary of what we can offer you:
Sports Massage: If you are nursing a sporting injury or suffering from an intense training regime, we spend the time where it’s needed most.
Remedial Massage: For general aches and pains, post-operative rehabilitation and chronic conditions, sprains, strains, accidents and injuries.
Pregnancy & Post-Natal Massage: For helping to ease the aches and strains from the first trimester right through to the end of the recovery period following the birth of your baby.
Holistic Massage: For easing the stresses and strains of daily life, leaving you fully relaxed and refreshed.
Natural Face Lift Massage: A gentle easing of the facial tissues helping to restore an element of youthfulness.
Seated Acupressure: A quick and zingy pick-me up that can be relaxing too!No needles, no oils and fully clothed.
Training, qualifications & experience
I studied Holistic Massage Level 3 through ITeC at Dundee College, gaining a credit qualification in June 2010. As part of on-going CPD, I attended a course on Natural Face Lift Massage in September 2010.
Following the Holistic Massage course, I enrolled with the Scottish Massage School, Edinburgh for the Sports & Remedial Therapy course. This qualification was awarded to me in August 2011. Since gaining this qualification I have attended 3 further training days covering lumbar, thoracic and cervical spine, contributing to my on-going CPD.
I have also gained On-Site Seated Acupressure with Delicate Touch Therapy School, Glenrothes, Natural Face Lift Massage with Insight, Edinburgh, and in June 2013 completed Advanced Remedial Massage through the AMTS in the Borders.
I have assisted with the Edinburgh Gunners Rugby team, and at the warm-up of the Walk the Walk, Moonwalk in Edinburgh June 2012.
I can now also offer additional services for Pregnancy& Post-Natal Massage therapy, Kinesio-taping, Active Isolated Stretching & Strengthening, and Nutritional advice for the non-athlete.

Cancellation/No Show/Late Policy:
When you schedule an appointment, the time is reserved exclusively for you. Therefore, please, if you must cancel your appointment, 24 hours’ notice is required in order not to be charged a cancellation fee for the appointment.If you are unexpectedly unable to make the appointment for any reason, please do let me know as soon as possible, before, during, or after the scheduled time.
If you are late for your appointment Taylored Massage cannot guarantee that you will receive your full appointment time due to other scheduled appointments. However you will still be charged for the time that was held for your appointment. If you are over 15 minutes late it may be necessary to reschedule and you may be charged a 25% re-booking fee.
If you have been diagnosed with or suspect you may have a pre-existing medical condition you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies, treatments or making any major changes in your diet or exercise programme.
