Suzanne is a Reflexology and Reiki Specialist
I am a fully qualified and insured Reflexologist with 10 years experience. I run an established Reiki/Reflexology business in the Scunthorpe and Doncaster areas. I hold sessions in a light and airy room at my home in Belton. For those people who are unable to travel to me, I also work as a mobile therapist within the local area, so that treatments can be held in the comfort of your own home.
Some clients have been with me since I first set up practice nearly ten years ago. One of the reasons why clients return again and again, is because I adapt my work to suit a persons individual needs and I genuinely care about the people I work with. I will always look to find ways of giving help and support to the best of my ability.
Reflexology is a gentle therapy where the reflex areas of the feet are massaged using a variety of pressure techniques. This stimulates the bodies own healing mechanisms and is excellent for promoting relaxation, releasing tension, improving sleep patterns, improving mood and increasing well being, and as a result can be a beneficial support to those experiencing illness.
Finding the root cause..
It is possible to find out where the problem areas are in the body by working the feet. Once these areas are located during the initial exploratory session, regular treatments can ease many physical problems and bring pain relief, as well as providing emotional support for those suffering from depression or stress.
Reflexology is free of the side effects found in many medications and it doesn't just mask the symptoms. Rather, it looks to get to the heart of a problem in order to deal with the root cause. Reflexology balances the systems of the body, including Hormonal, Digestive, Circulatory and the Nervous System etc.
Reiki is a wonderful stand alone treatment or it can be used to complement and enhance Reflexology. It is a healing technique based on the principle that energy flows through the practitioners hands to the client's body in order to activate the natural healing processes. This restores physical and emotional well-being and can often bring a sense of peace and tranquillity. I use Reiki with Reflexology to a lesser or greater degree, depending upon the needs of the client.
Hot Stone Reflexology
This is a luxurious reflexology session where you can experience a soothing foot and lower leg massage using heated basalt stones and warmed essential oils. Heated stones are also placed against the neck and shoulders and on the energy centres of the body for a nurturing and deeply relaxing experience.
The Endocrine Sweep Endocrine Sweep helps to balance the Endocrine system and is particularly good for helping to ease P.M.S. and menopausal symptoms. During a reflexology session, the main emphasis is placed upon working the hormonal reflexes of the foot, which in turn helps to bring the body back into balance.
Some clients have been with me since I first set up practice nearly eight years ago. One of the reasons why clients return again and again, is because I genuinely care about the people I work with and I will always look to find ways of giving help and support to the best of my ability.

I look forward to my reflexology with Suzanne. I have Parkinsons and find that my treatment is beneficial to my well-being. I discuss my treatment with Suzanne and we work out a plan that suits me.
The treatment is so good that I'm asleep in a matter of minutes. I feel relaxed and refreshed after each session. I try to have about 3 sessions each month.
Suzanne sometimes suggests I have Reiki if she feels my condition would benefit from the extra treatment.
Diane Parkin (Eastoft) January 2014
After suffering for many years with Plantar Fasciitis (painful heels) and enduring countless steroid injections, my doctor told me my only option was surgery. Not wanting to go down this route I heard and read about Reflexology and decided to give it a go before turning to surgery.
It took Suzanne about four one hour sessions before I started to feel the results of what she was doing and about two monthes of one hourly sessons a week, to be pain free.
I still have my weekly sessions so Suzanne can keep on top of any twinges I might get, but mostly because its one hour of pure relaxation and 'me' time. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
John Porritt (Armthorpe, Doncaster) 24th April 2014
For over four years I was struggling to walk, having sore feet and poor blood circulation.
My daughter looked Suzanne up on the internet and I got in touch and arranged a course of treatment.
It was the best thing I did. Soon my feet felt a lot better. Thank you.
Sarah (Crowle) 12th June 2013
I was feeling very stressed, tired and mixed up.
I saw a leaflet about taster sessions for Reflexology and I thought I would try it out.
I didn't really know what it was. That was about 8/10 weeks ago and I have got to say I have not looked back since. I have had about 6 sessions and have loved every one of them.
Its a lovely, relaxing treatment.
Suzanne is very good and makes you feel like its made just for you.
I had PMS symptoms and was having trouble sleeping. Now I feel so relaxed.l
I still go about once a fortnight for one hour and I really look forward to it.

When I experienced problems with vertigo recently, I decided to give reflexology a try. Suzanne came highly recommended. She was empathic and very professional in her approach and succeeded in helping me get through my health issues. I would certainly recommend her to others.
Christine, Barnby Dun, Doncaster: April 2014
I have been completely bowled over by the results, with aches and pains alleviated and improvement in well being. If you have never tried Reflexology or Reiki, I recommend you do. I definitely know when I have not been. A non-pushy, excellent service.
Carol Green, Scawsby, Doncaster: April 2014
I find Suzanne's sessions very relaxing. I never fail to go to sleep. The Reflexology eases all my aches and pains. It also soothes my eczema and helps my sleeping at night time. It also helps my body to learn to relax in a gentle way.
Janice Stones, Crowle, Scunthorpe: April 2014
I cannot recommend enough. Knowledgeable, but also intuitive to the individual. Professional but also welcoming and warm. Excellent results for myself, both with physical pain and also mental well-being.
Dr Armineh Soorenian (Leeds)20th May 2014.
I have been receiving reflexology and reiki treatments from Suzanne Travis for the last 5 years.
I have a number of physical impairments and am a regular migraine sufferer. I find these sessions deeply relaxing and helpful for my general health and well being. Often I feel in a trance-like relaxing state where I am able to get in touch with my inner-self and resolve emotional issues that are causing my migraines. The reflexology also helps me to manage my back pain better and deal with my fatigue issues.
It is always a delight to see Suzanne and share with her my daily challenges. Her advice is always apt and poignant, and it is a joy to listen to her spiritual guidance. I always feel energised, refreshed and revitalised after my reflexology and reiki treatments.
Thanks to Suzanne for her generous spirit.

TRADITIONAL REFLEXOLOGY is an ancient practice which uses a variety of pressure techniques to work the toes, feet, ankles and calves.
A wide range of disorders are positively effected by this treatment as it releases tension, removes energy blockages, disperses accumulations of calcium and uric acid and stimulates blood circulation.
Reflexology aims to rebalance the body on a physical, mental and emotional level, promoting relaxation, improving sleep and reducing stress.
HOTSTONE REFLEXOLOGY is a relatively new adaptation based on ancient techniques. For millennia, people from virtually every culture have used a combination of touch, heat and stones as therapeutic tools. This is a deeply relaxing, energising and extremely popular treatment.
REIKI (pronounced Ray-Key) is a japanese word meaning 'Universal Life Energy' often referred to a Chi, the life force energy within and all around us.
Reiki is a technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.
ENDOCRINE SWEEP helps to balance the hormonal system and eases PMT and Menopausal symptoms.
REIKI-REFLEX combines 1hour of Reflexology with 30 mins. reiki - a wonderful combination!
