Currently, The Hyde Physiotherapy centre continues to provide the same high quality care to its patients a little further a field under the boundaries of the Tameside and Glossop Primary Care Trust, treating over 15,000 patients a year. Patients are referred for outpatient Physiotherapy care from their General practitioners and many of the surrounding hospitals; Tameside General, Stepping Hill, Manchester Royal Infirmary, and Hope Hospital to name but a few.
The centre has a team of fully qualified physiotherapists, each registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), the Health Professions Council (HPC) and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) . They all have many years of experience and post graduate courses to provide the best and most up to date orthopaedic care and pain management.

Steve Loveridge- Steve qualified in 2005 from a Masters in Rehabiliation science at Brighton university which gives lisence to practice physiotherapy. Steve has a Sports Science background having attained an honours degree in Sports Science and Biology at Nottingham Trent University in 2002. After completing 3 and a half years with the NHS at South Manchester University Hospitals, Steve joined Hyde Physiotherapy Centre in 2009. Steve has a very manual and exercise based approach and has attended many post- graduate courses to progress his treatment techniques, including acupuncture and orthopaedic medicine.
Graeme Carter- Graeme qualified from Manchester School of Physiotherapy in 2004. After completing 2 years with the NHS at South Manchester University Hospitals, Graeme joined Hyde Physiotherapy Centre in 2007. Graeme has a post graduate Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine and adopts a very ‘hands on’ approach to his physiotherapy management. Graeme has attended many post-graduate courses in order to provide the best patient management and extend his clinical skills.
Gareth Kershaw - Gareth qualified from the Manchester School of Physiotherapy in 2002. He started his career in the NHS at North Manchester General Hospital gaining experience in many areas of physiotherapy practice specifically adult orthopaedic outpatients and inpatients, and also a 6 month post treating paediatric orthopaedic in and outpatients at Booth Hall childrens' Hospital. He has also had valuable experience in the sporting arena, treating various sports injuries and developing rehabilitation programmes at the Blackburn Rovers Football Club Academy for 5 years. Gareth joined the Hyde Physiotherapy Centre team in January 2004 and has further developed his skills in the musculoskeletal area of physiotherapy, he has gained a post-graduate diploma in orthopaedic medicine as well as many other post graduate courses including acupuncture, myofascial release and spinal manipulation therapy Gareth has a very direct approach to physiotherapy involving a variety of effective treatments both ‘hands-on’ and exercise based to provide a holistic approach to patient management.
