Sam’s interest in homeopathy was sparked when she decided to see a homeopath which then greatly improved her well-being. Sam became dedicated to understanding homeopathy and bringing the treatment to others. On her quest for understanding, she won a graduation prize for her dissertation exploring how homeopathy works via an investigation of quantum physics and cutting edge scientific research which has yet to filter in to mainstream scientific thinking. The truth is there is still no fixed explanation of how it works and this can confuse people. However, the explanation is likely to soon be discovered as scientific thinking advances. Professor Luc Montagnier, French Virologist and Nobel Laureate in 2010 said “High dilutions of something are not nothing. They are water structures which mimic the original molecules. Its not pseudoscience. Its not quackery. These are real phenomena which deserve further study.”
Sam is passionate about homeopathy and as well as taking private client appointments, she enjoys running an acute 'drop in' clinic which is visited by people who may have recently had surgery, or been in an accident or suffered an injury. Parents often bring their children who may have general children’s ailments. She also has a special interest in the physiological effects of stress on the body and helping her clients re-balance their stressed minds and bodies.
Homeopathy is one of the most widely used forms of medicine in the world today, because people are discovering the benefits of a system of medicine that is safe, effective and treats them as unique individuals.
Homeopathic medicines are chosen to treat the whole person, because homeopaths believe the mind and body operate as one, and you cannot treat one part of the body without affecting the whole. Medicines are chosen to fit all the characteristics of the patient, so physical disorders are considered in relation to the individual’s mental and emotional state.
Homeopathy can be used effectively by everyone, from babies and children to adults, including women during pregnancy. When prescribed appropriately, they are safe, non-toxic and non-addictive. They can be taken alongside drugs prescribed by your doctor and will not interfere with their beneficial action. As your condition improves, you may be able to safely reduce your conventional medication, thereby avoiding the unwanted effects that sometimes accompany the long-term use of drugs. NB: you should always consult with your GP before making changes to your conventional medication
