I qualified in 2002 as a homeopath at the South Downs School of Homeopathy and am registered with the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths. I set up and run the low-cost clinic as I’m passionate about making homeopathy available to all. Having run student tutorials for many years and being a qualified supervisor, I now lecture at the college I trained at.
I qualified in 2007 as a natural fertility teacher with Foresight, the preconception charity, and have combined my knowledge of both homeopathy and natural fertility. I have found that women feel empowered by understanding their own fertility.
More recently I qualified as a psychotherapeutic counsellor at Chichester Counselling Services and am a registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). I’m fully insured for all the services I offer with Balens.
I took over the running of Chichester Homeopathic Clinic in 2006, this grew organically into Chichester Holistic Centre where my practice is based and has many different therapists working under its banner. You can find out more information at www.chichesterholisticcentre.co.uk
Training, qualifications & experience
Homeopathy is a holistic system of medicine, remedies can be based on any substance which is then highly diluted. The remedies can be used alongside conventional medication and any other therapy. Holistic means that the remedies treat the whole person simultaneously on a physical, emotional and mental level.
The initial consultation lasts 60-90 minutes followed by a series of shorter follow-up consultations lasting 30-45 minutes. The amount of consultations required will vary considerably depending on the individual.
The low-cost homeopathic clinic offers half price homeopathy. The low-cost clinic doubles as a teaching clinic for homeopathic students who are required to have a number of sitting-in hours observing a professional homeopath at work. If you are a student interested in booking a place at the clinic, please e-mail me stating which college you are studying at and what year you are in.
There are no requirements for patients wishing to make use of the low-cost clinic other than being happy to have students observing the case taking process. Appointments can be booked via the enquiry form, by sending me an e-mail, text or by phone.
Whilst my counselling training was psychodynamic, my experience as a homeopath also informs my work which means I often use theory and techniques from different schools of counselling and other therapies to form a unique way of working with each client. I recognise that each person is an individual and choose to work in a compassionate way that ensures that the therapy fits the client.
I believe that our past can affect our present, so along with looking at issues in the here and now I also work with experiences from childhood if appropriate. Counselling may be long or short term and we can discuss what may suit you at the initial assessment. Sessions are always 50 minutes long and are at the same time and day each week. I offer a small number of low-cost, long term counselling places.
If you are ready to make changes to your life and are committed to the therapeutic process and yourself, then this can be a very rewarding journey of endless possibilities.

Over the years, people never fail to amaze me; both with what they have endured and what they are capable of achieving. Both Homeopathy and Counselling offer a supportive and nourishing environment to enable the individual to explore themselves on every level - physically, mentally and emotionally. All it takes is the first step...
If you have been diagnosed with or suspect you may have a pre-existing medical condition you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies, treatments or making any major changes in your diet or exercise programme.
