About me

Naturopathy is a complementary system of health care that promotes the body's natural self-healing process. It is an holistic method of treatment that looks at each patient's symptoms and lifestyle so as to identify the cause of the symptoms and then use natural therapies to help you feel better and enjoy Good Health for Life.

As a Naturopath I use natural therapies like homeopathy, Bach flowers, nutrition, Ear candling and Allergy treatment to help restore balance and well being. I work from my clinic at home and have experience in treating babies, children and adults.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a graduate of the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London with a Diploma in Naturopathy, and Homeopathy. As part of my Naturopathic course I also studied nutrition, iridology, Ear Candling and Bach Flowers. I am a trained NAET practitioner in the treatment of allergies.

Further information

I specialise in NAET treatment for allergies/sensitivities both food and environmental/chemical, this is a gentle non-evasive technique that is painless and drug free.

NAET works by re-educating the body to accept the allergen as a 'good thing' not a threat. Allergies are treated one at a time with this technique, and best results are obtained if allergens are handled in a specific sequence. Normally only one item is treated on a given day. The substance must then be completely avoided for 25 hours following the treatment. The method is suitable for both babies, young children as well as adults. For further information see

Ear Candling

The ear candling treatment is a relaxing one and the patient need only concern them self with lying fairly still in a comfortable position whilst the hopi ear candle is gently inserted into their ear and the top is lit and allowed to burn. The candle has a slight suction action like a chimney and the flame creates a gentle vibration which massages the eardrum. The treatment is completed with a short facial massage.

Listed below are some of the conditions that may benefit from this treatment:

  • Tinnitus
  • Sinusitis
  • Glue Ear
  • Excess Ear Wax
  • Headaches

No contraindications are known to date but as a precaution, it is advisable not to use Hopi candles if grommets are in place, if there is inflammation or infection in the ear, perforated ear drum or receiving medical treatment to the ear.

Bach Flower Essences

Dr Bach discovered 38 remedies which he split into seven different groups and can be combined to suit the individual. The flower remedies are made from wild plants, trees and bushes. They work by treating the individual rather than the disease or its symptoms and are a gentle way to manage your emotions and rediscover the positive side of ourselves.

Sometimes we aren’t quite ourselves. We feel out of sort, as if something isn’t right and we need a little help to get back on track. You can use Bach Flower Remedies to help overcome everyday bad feelings and when you are ill as good emotional health helps support and aid the recovery of physical health.

Each of the 38 Bach Flower Remedies is unique and helps to treat a different emotion. They are safe and easy to use and have no side effects and are safe to use during and after pregnancy ( but you should first consult your midwife/doctor before taking the remedies).

Can be helpful in the following conditions:
feeling stuck in a situation
uncertainty about the way forward
lack of confidence/insecurity

Important information

If you have been diagnosed with or suspect you may have a pre-existing medical condition you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies, treatments or making any major changes in your diet or exercise programme.
