About me

My name is Rita. Independent Clinical Shiatsu and Massage Therapist. MLD Manual Lymphatic Drainage (according with Dr Vodder) and DLT Decongestive Lymphatic Therapy. I am Shiatsu Society member, member of CHP, MLD uk, CNHC registered. I believe in taking care of people, that why I created Craft Massage& Shiatsu. Craft means: Create your own Treatment, an individual journey in which I will be the bridge to help you to find a way to connect with yourself. That is not only relaxation but starting a collaboratively change. It is a creative and experimental form of hands techniques using safe and appropriate techniques I have been learning, practicing and studying since '98. I believe in natural healing process that any person deserve; and the power of body-mind, starts when you feel calm, empty the mind during the session through a deep relaxation. Healing originates within human body. Every person is an individual and different therapies work for a different people in different moments of the life, the day. I am always motivated and inspired from all around of me: people, animals, plants. I try to pass my experience and knowledge as therapist and motivations and inspirations with all my passion. Focus to leave emotions and feelings that people cannot forget. Ability to work with all types of difficulties and with people from all walks of life. My Mission: Educate and help people to discover their own body, find internal connections and use natural resources; crafting individual treatment. I use safe, appropriate and effective techniques; explaining the procedures that I apply. I give lifestyle advises if necessary, based on initial Health Questionnaire and on my experience and knowledge as a therapist. I am interested in experimental and evolution of new techniques to maintain and improve the wellbeing and the vitality, happiness of the person. Exploring the Pain and supporting human being, in terms of Emotions, Feelings and Body Language.

You are welcome to my Lovely, Clean, Quiet Home therapy room just in front of the Alexandra park; Plenty of free parking at any time. Before and after a session you can enjoy a green-walking in the amazing park.

I create a relaxing space where I will look after you, taking time for the initial Health Questionnaire with a Drink Welcome ritual ( which I always change ), understanding what you need and help you to reconnect with yourself before start the real treatment.
For each person I always spend about two hours.

I can give treatments only for women (or men if I receive referrals by women).
