Asokananda Ayurvedic Healing
8 Grantham Road
Hough On The Hill
Our practice offers a gentle and mindful environment where you will find peace and connection with your true self. Ancient methods of ayurvedic healing are used including the use of sacred and mystic oils specially prepared for us in the Isle of Avalon. You will rest upon Indian chakra balancing silks, be anointed with holy oils, feel the warmth of Mother Earth through hot volcanic stones and be gently massaged by hands and feet trained by Eastern Masters.
This is no ordinary massage experience and bears little resemblance to the type of 'therapy' offered by salons and spas in the UK.
From the the moment you enter our treatment rooms you will feel a deep sense of peace, calm and tranquility. Your massage will include elements of reflexology, yoga, energy meridian work, meditation, acupressure, muscle compression and joint mobilisation. Expect the treatment to take approximately two hours.
After your treatment you are free to relax in any one of our places of mindfulness, be it the sleep studio, our Buddha retreat, the tipi or perhaps the sauna or garden hammock.
