The Alexander Technique teaches you how to prevent unnecessary tension and effort in anything you do. This leads to better posture and more ease and poise. It increases balance, coordination and freedom of movement together with greater awareness of yourself in your present environment.
The wide variety of applications of the Technique spans from relieving pain to enhancing your general well-being and improving specialised skills.
The Alexander Technique is a lasting investment in yourself, a skill you learn for life.
The Alexander Technique can be applied to all life activities, there are no special exercises to be learned, no special equipment is needed. A lesson focuses on daily activities like standing, sitting, walking etc. and anything more specific you would like to work on.
I teach individual lessons and workshops in two locations in London. I am also available for a workshop tailor made to your specific needs. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about how the Alexander Technique might benefit you and what I can offer you.
