My name is Radhika, and I have been practising Yoga for the last 12 years. Yoga and Ayurveda being sister sciences (one to balance the mind and the other the body) and having a keen interest in natural medicine, I decided to study both Yoga and Ayurveda, the age old Indian system of medicine.
My main passion is to boost an interest in people to start taking care of themselves - this way you can enjoy good health by simply introducing small changes in your diet and lifestyle. I feel it is always better to try healing yourself the natural way, and if this does not work for you, then go for the allopathic remedies. Herbs and massages combined with the right diet and cleanses can enhance their immunity and lower the risk of illness.
An Ayurvedic consultation consists of a series of questions about your daily routine, diet, digestion physical, mental and emotional health. There is then a tongue and pulse diagnosis to find out your constitution and imbalance and the right treatment given as required. Through Ayurveda, we can help to keep the body disease free and by practising Yoga, we can create a relaxed mind and positive outlook to life.

Training, qualifications & experience
Ayurvedic Diet and Lifestyle Consultant (Ayurveda Pura Academy, London), this course involved a pulse and tongue diagnosis and a further detailed study of Ayurveda.
I have been studying Ayurveda for three years and have done additional courses with Dr Frawley (American Institute of Vedic sciences).
I trained as a Yoga teacher (Sivananda School of Yoga) and I have been teaching group and individual yoga classes on a regular basis for the last 12 years.
